Van Loon
maar blijven dicht bij jou!

Since 2022, Floris’Hand has been part of Van Loon, a reliable and independent service provider for mortgages, insurance, pensions and banking. We are very happy with this collaboration, which is why we are going one step further and have chosen to also bear the name Van Loon from 1 September 2024. And we are proud of that!

Frequently Asked Questions

We have collected and listed the frequently asked questions about our name change for you.

Why is Floris'Hand changing its name to Van Loon?

Floris’Hand has been part of Van Loon since 2022. This was mainly behind the scenes. But we are very happy with the collaboration, which is why we have chosen to also use the name Van Loon from 1 September. This will allow us to work more efficiently. For example, we will use the same (digital) systems, one website and joint communication tools. This enables us to respond to specific questions and needs more quickly and effectively. This will make our services even better, more complete and a lot more efficient, which will leave us with more time for our relations.

Why are you saying goodbye to your trusted name?

We believe that we can achieve more under one name. Van Loon is a very strong brand that has been built for years. Behind the scenes, we already work together as one team. The name change will also make this visible to the outside world. This will allow us to work more efficiently and, in the long term, we will have greater recognition.

Where does the name Van Loon come from?

Van Loon is a true family business. From 1938, Piet van Loon sat in his living room in Dordrecht with pen and paper writing the first policies. Today, more than 85 years later, Van Loon has grown under the leadership of grandson Marcel van Loon with 13 branches to become a strong, independent player in the field of insurance, mortgages, pensions and banking. As a team, Van Loon is known for its excellent knowledge of the business and private market. All advisors, just like us, attach great value to personal contact with relations. They take the time to provide you with optimal advice and to arrange everything down to the last detail.

Which other Van Loon offices are there?

With its base in Dordrecht, Van Loon can now be found with 13 branches throughout the Netherlands:  Dordrecht (HQ), Breda, The Hauge, Dongen, Etten-Leur, Leiden, Rotterdam, Udenhout, Empel, Den Bosch, Breukelen and two branches in Rijswijk. All the branches can be found in top locations, so there is always a branch near you.

How are you going to communicate the name change to the outside world?

From 1 September, Floris’Hand will officially bear the name Van Loon, from that moment on we will also communicate this externally by means of a letter to our relations and we will inform the regional and trade media about this. All our locations, communication tools and sponsor expressions will be called Van Loon from 1 September and our website and social media channels will switch to Van Loon. In order to include you in the entire process, we will inform you about the name change from June.

When does the name change take effect?

Our name will officially change to Van Loon as of September 1, 2024. However, behind the scenes we have been working on transferring our (digital) systems since June 1. As a result, you may see the name Van Loon on the policies as of June instead of Floris’Hand.

What does the name change mean for the current services?

The name change has little effect on the current services. As an affiliated office, we were already part of the Van Loon team with 13 branches throughout the Netherlands. As a result, our team has expanded and we already have more experience and specialist knowledge, which means we can offer you a very complete service in the field of mortgages, insurance, pensions, banking and in the field of business financing and mediation when a relationship ends. Does one of our advisors not know the answer to a question? Then a colleague from another branch will. This way we can always help you with the best financial advice.

Does the name change mean new management or new board of directors?

No, everything remains the same. We were already part of Van Loon. All trusted faces including Dianne, Arthur, René, Niels, Aline, Ricardo, Clemens, Cindy, Hans, Karin, Iris, Tim, Elise, Lennert and Hans will continue to work at our locations in and and will remain the first of contact for our relations.

What will I notice about the name change?

You will hardly notice the name change. We will continue to work from our current locations, our colleagues will remain and your regular contact person will also remain your first point of contact. However, our locations and all our communication tools will be given a new look with the name Van Loon and it is possible that you will see the name Van Loon on the policies or bank statements from June. This is only an administrative change. From September we will communicate under the name Van Loon, which will also allow us to offer additional services such as a digital customer folder and a newsletter.

What effect does the name change have on current mortgages, insurance or banking?

The name change has no effect on your current mortgages, insurances or banking. Nothing changes in your banking, mortgage, the insurance or insurer where the insurance is placed. However, it is possible that you will see the name Van Loon on policies or bank statements from June. This is only an administrative change.

Will the service become more expensive due to the name change?

The costs of our services remain the same.

After the name change, will I still have the same contact person or advisor and how can I reach him or her?

After the name change, you will still have the same contact person or advisor, they will remain the first point of contact. Our advisors can still be reached via the same telephone number. However, the email addresses will be switched to the Van Loon email address from September. So you can change this yourself. But we will also arrange this technically well, so that you will hardly notice this.

Our Floris’Hand email addresses will be linked to the new Van Loon email address, which means that emails sent to our old email addresses will be forwarded for the time being. If anything else changes in the contact details, your regular contacts will inform you about this.

Who can I contact with questions?

If you have a question, you can contact your regular contact person or advisor. You can also always reach our offices in Dongen or Udenhout and you are welcome at one of our other locations in Breda or Den Bosch, for example, where our advisors will be happy to help you.
